Great Soldier and friend. Will be greatly missed. Upon hearing of his unexpected passing, I contacted over a dozen former Soldier/friends of Criss's. All said the same things about him....great Soldier, funny, hard working, willing to get the job done and get dirty if need be. All of us were extremely lucky to have served with him, and will miss him. He recently had reached out to me about the future passing of my ill wife, making sure I was ok, asking if I needed anything, willing to help me if I needed anything....and offered again after she passed....and he meant it. Being a Soldier is a hard life, but Criss made it look effortless, and everyone knew he could be counted on when he needed. Rest easy brother, till we meet on the other side.Read more

I remember so much about this guy. He made me laugh, made us crazy and above all else made you love. I will never forget his voice it was so deep it touched your heart. Just a good guy and too young to have been taken so soon. God has a good "angel" that will now watch over us. My heart goes out to his boys. You will be truly missed. Rest easy Criss.
