She is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Phillip Hobbs; one son, Jason Linn Hobbs and his girlfriend Sarah Graham of Boothsville; one daughter, Kelci Mae Murphy and her husband Teddy of Martinsburg; five grandchildren, Hannah and Claire Hobbs, and Kegan, Kolsen and Kettering Murphy; one brother, Clifford "Linn" Butcher and his wife Barbara of Mt. Connie was a 1971 graduate of South Harrison High School and worked for Fabric and Foam, and later as a Hostess at Hampton Inn.
Mostly, Connie was a devoted wife and mother, always putting others' needs before her own. She was not only an amazing mother to her own children, but was considered a mother to many others as well.
Connie enjoyed going to the beach and having her entire family all together, and she loved spending time with her grandchildren, regardless of what they were doing.
Connie loved fiercely, unconditionally and without judgement, and she opened her heart and her home to everyone. She spent her short time on earth always eager to lend a helping hand to a loved one, friend or neighbor in need.
Having shared many precious years with her husband, family and friends, Connie's memory will live on.

I want to offer my condolences to you and your family. One of the most difficult things we deal with is the loss of a loved one. God's word offers an encouraging promise in Revelation 21:4 that says God will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more. God's word also gives us the hope that one day we will see our loved ones again. For more comfort from God's word please refer to the website JW,org
