Betty Bosley Sayre, 87, of Fairmont, passed away Friday, Feb. 16, 2018 at the Pierpont Center in Fairmont. She was born May 5, 1930, in Canada, daughter of the late George W. and Evelyn Shapter Wilde.
Betty loved her family, gardening, traveling, and all of her dogs.
Betty is survived by her children, Steven Bosley and wife Beth of Baltimore, Maryland, Richard Bosley and husband Michael Sauro of Fairmont, Elizabeth Bosley of Irmo, Soth Carolina, Mark Bosley and wife Donna of Seattle, Washington, and Tim Bosley and wife Sara of Fairmont; two sisters, Jean Crevar and Sharon Lane; grandchildren, Beau, Brennen, Katherine, Christopher, Matthew, Emily, and Jared; seven great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Betty is preceded in death by her husbands, Richard Bosley and John Sayre; a brother, James Wilde; and a sister Phillis Cunningham.
The family will receive friends from 3-8 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 19, 2018, at Domico Funeral Home, 414 Gaston Avenue in Fairmont. The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2018, at the funeral home with Pastor Bill Preston officiating. Interment will follow at Claremont Cemetery.
