Barrett's Story

Barrett Lija Masters got his wings and went to heaven to be with his grandmother, Rose (Slider) Morris at 8:22 p.m. Friday (March 24, 2017).
He left behind his parents, James Richard Patrick Masters and Andrea Rose Wright of Farmington; his grandparents, Jimmy and Diana Masters of Farmington, Larry Morris of Fairmont and Mark and Debi Wright of Fairmont; and his great-grandparents, Walter and Jeanette Patrick of Farmington, Linda Fortney of Monongah, Jeanne Renshaw of Farmington, Jack and Mary Ann Wright of Fairmont and Rosalie Slider of Smithtown. He also leaves behind his uncles, Devon Masters and his wife Samantha of Farmington and Joseph Morris of Fairmont; and his three cousins, Kaleb, Kason and Kooper Masters of Farmington. Barrett was met in Heaven by his grandmother, Rose (Slider) Morris; his great-grandfathers, William Slider, Richard Fortney and Joseph "Buck" Morris; and his great uncle, Rickie Slider.
Friends and family may call from noon to 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Carpenter & Ford Funeral Home, 209 Merchant Street, Fairmont. The funeral service will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with Pastor Ruth Hall officiating. Interment will follow at Pisgah Cemetery in Monongalia County.
