Aundrea's Story

Aundrea Lee Owolabi Gilbert, 35, of Fairmont, peacefully departed this life on Wednesday (July 5, 2017) at her residence.
She was born in Fairmont on July 14, 1981, the daughter of the late Andrew and Joanne Owolabi King.
She was formerly employed for by Department of Children & Family (D.C.F.) in Largo, Florida.
After the passing of her sister, she devoted her life to loving and caring for her two nephews. She enjoyed playing cards, watching movies, collecting stuffed animals and pictures. She kept to herself most of the time, but she also loved and enjoyed spending time with close family and friends.
She is survived by six brothers and two sisters, George Anthony White of Fairmont, Melvin King of Harlem, New York, Andrew King Jr. of Danner Moral, New York, Mike Comedy of Baltimore, Maryland, Clifford and Clifton Campbell both of Decatur, Georgia, Vicki King of Bronx, New York, and Rita Farr of Atlanta, Georgia.
She is also survived by two nephews, Taireek Andrez and Hadahiji Owolabi, both of Fairmont; three uncles and eight aunts, Eddie King of Monongah, Darian Jones of Fairmont, Jeff Waites of Chicago, Illinois, Lucy-Sissy (John) Gotses of Duquesne, Pennsylvania, Joyce (Alonzo) Jones of Bolingbrook, Illinois, Frances White, Annie Rollins, Phyllis Clay, Edith (Robert) Clay, Linda (James) Weeks, all of Fairmont, and Alfreda Payton of Savannah, Georgia. She is also survived by a special friend, Rachel Burton of Winter Haven, Florida, and a host of cousins and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter and son, Loveannette Shree and Roy Todd Riffle, one sister, Julie Owolabi; three uncles, Ronnie and John White, and Joe Winston King; and four aunts, Gwendolyn Sumlin, Ora D. King, Minnie Lee King Echols and Yvonne Daniels.
Family visitation from 10-11 a.m. Thursday at Christian Love Ministries, 410 Morgantown Ave., Fairmont.
Family will then receive friends from 11 a.m. until noon Thursday at Christian Love Ministries followed by a memorial service at noon at the church with Minister Melvin Waites officiating and Prophetess Phyllis Clay Eulogist. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the care of Ross Funeral Home, 801 Fairmont Ave., Fairmont.
